Riddle of the Runes is a really good book. It is about a girl called Alva who has a mystery to solve. Her father went a- Viking and didn't come back. She must find out what the hidden runes on an ancient casket (made of bone) mean to find a hidden treasure.
This book is excellent. Has a little Tolkien and lloyd alexander twist. About a boy who has to give his rune back to his mother and must solve a riddle. It has songs and in 5/5(4).
